27 November 2025, 9.30am – 12.15pm

Class 4 will be visiting the National Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire. This trip will directly support our current history topic focusing on the Second World War.
The trip will take place during school hours. We will be leaving school at approximately 9:30am and travelling by school minibus to and from the Arboretum. We expect to return to school by 12:15pm.
During our visit, the children will receive a guided tour and visit the main memorials and features relating to the Second World War, providing a poignant and educational experience.
The children will need to be dressed in full school uniform. Please ensure they are dressed warmly with a coat, hat and gloves as the majority of the visit will be spent outdoors. Although we are expecting to be back during lunchtime, children will need to bring a packed lunch for the morning and their water bottles in case there are delays in returning to school.
There will be no charge fort his trip; however, please note the consent for your child to attend is available to view and sign up for on Arbor.
