Hi Class 4,
I hope that you are well and keeping safe. I have seen some amazing poems this week I am very impressed with what I have been sent. I will try and upload some of these to the class page so you can all have a look at them. It was lovely to see the Year 6's on Wednesday in the GoogleMeet , it was lovely hear from you all. It makes me happy to know that you are all well and safe. I cannot wait to arrange one of these with the Year 5 children too.
Please remember that 2 hours of work a day is plenty.

Today in English you are going to be purple polishing your poetry that you created on Wednesday. I would like you to not only look at your spellings, but also check you work carefully to ensure that your work makes sense and that you have used figurative language effectively.
Once you have purple polished your work I would like you to evaluate your poems, I have attached a sheet for you to follow. You need to look at 3 stars (good things) and one wish (a thing that could be developed). You could do this yourself or you could ask someone in your family to evaluate it for you.

We are continuing to slightly changing the way we do Whiterose Maths now. I would like us to catch up, so we are going to be continuing to work on week 4 this week. For Friday could you please have a go at something a bit different. I would like you to write me a prayer that could be read out, taking into account all that is happening in the World at the moment and thanking all our brave key workers. Write it out neatly in your exercise books and decorate as you wish. I will send some of them on to Rev.Anne to have a look at too so please email them in.
