Class 4

We have had a lovely day at King Arthur’s Labyrinth. We have arrived the youth hostel and are getting ready for dinner.  
 

We have arrived in Borth….

In Class 4 we had chance to share our production of Peter Pan with our school and parents. I was very proud of  them sas they performed, sang and danced beautifully. What an amazing performance it was!

I would also like to say thank you to all the parents for providing such lovely costumes.

We have been looking at exports in Geography with Mrs Smith this week. We enjoyed being creative with how we presented our work. 

Today we had an amazing time at Walsall Art Gallery. We had the opportunity to look at some amazing art work and complete a sculpture workshop! All of our sculptures are fantastic. 
 

In Class 4 today we have been creating some ‘Modern Sculptures’. We have used foil to create sculptures of people and animals. We had lots of fun doing these and we think they are very effective… what do you think? 

Today we competed in the GreenPower Race Day. We had so much fun racing in the slalom, drag and relay races. The children were amazing and were wonderful ambassadors for our school. I am very proud of them all and we even managed to winner a trophy for “Best and most sustainable bodywork”.

We are busy getting ready for the art gallery in Class 4. Here is a sneak preview of some of our work….

In class 4 we are getting ready for the art gallery in June. Here is a sneak peek of our beautiful clay Fairy Houses. 
 

This week we have been adding some more details to our bodywork. We have also experimented with CAD to create a steering wheel and a model of the car.

In our final week before Raceday we have been making the final touches to our cars and organising our portfolio. We are all very proud of our cars. We give to you Postman Pat and Summer Surfers. 

This week in GreenPower we have been learning to push start and drive the cars. We had a great time and cannot wait for Raceday!
