Football
So far this year we have had some football matches played by Class 3 and 4 and both classes have done particularly well.
From what we know both classes have both given 100% effort and we will carry on enjoying it.
St-Mary's 1 - St Joseph's 2
Our Class 3 boys performed brilliantly on Monday, narrowly losing 2-1 to a strong St Joseph team at Rugeley Leisure Centre. The boys performed with positivity and showed great team work throughout. Another 5 minutes and we would have had the equaliser! Well done boys!
Football debuts
Our Class 3 team made their school debuts today. We narrowly lost to Etching Hill in a brilliant game full of passion, commitment and some fantastic goals. Well done boys!
Class 4 drama
A powerful depiction of the book and film Hidden figures by Class 4 this week.
Sports day fun
We had lots of fun on Sports Day this year and cannot wait to have parents back next year to watch us race!
Basketball tournament
Well done to our Basketball team who took part in the MAT Basketball tournament on Friday. A superb effort from our wonderful team.
Cross Country
Superb team work, dedication and hard-work on Friday as St Mary's finished second int he intra-school cross country tournament at Richard Crosse.
Indoor athletics
Class 2 took part in an indoor athletics competition with a teacher from The Hart School. Children from Class 3 scored the competition and gave them the results.
Stoke FC update
We have had fun with Stoke City this week and we kept our body moving because we are trying to keep us healthy. In Stoke City we learnt how to catch properly. We threw the ball in the air and had to clap as many times as we could. We played netball and it was really fun.
