Worship Team

The Worship team led a wonderful service in church today. They planned and delivered a psalm from the Bible as today is National poetry week. 
 

We looked at The Boy in the Dress story in Worship this week. It’s amazing  how much respect and indeed how little respect for and from others can be found in this book. How much can you see? Have a read or check it out on iPlayer. 

Buying an eagle on a family trip to Warwick Castle. Nice to know our vision and values stay with our children in their day to day lives too. 

It was great to learn more about Respect from Mrs Gethin today as we came togetehr for our whole MAT act of Worship. 

This term's value is...RESPECT. 

Our wonderful Worship team have been busy preparing for this weeks Worship with Reverend Anne. Here they are linking it to our big frieze God’s Rescue Mission. 

Even the Queen likes our values. 

Today we read the fist part of the story of Lazarus. Mr Wynn taught us about where Jesus showed compassion by putting himself into the shoes of Lazarus' family. We try to do this at St Mary's so we can understand how others are feeling. 

Today The Howard children taught us all about compassion through the brilliant work of Marcus Rashford and his free school meals campaign.

An amazing experience today. The whole school visited church to take part in Reverend Anne’s Easter Godly play. We came back feeling blessed and full of awe and wonder. 

Such a wonderful day today in Colton. A beautiful village. We loved our walk to church where we learned all about Palm Sunday. 

Using our brilliant ideas Reverend Anne has written a Psalm for St Mary's. What do you think?
