Friday 27th March

Hi Class 4. We hope you are having a good time at home still. William has clearly been working hard and it was nice to see Hollie's beaming smile on the photo on the gallery. Please send us some more of your work and photos. Education City has been a bit of a nightmare but is now up and running much more smoothly so you should be able to use it better. We can see some of you have been on it lots which is great to see. How are you enjoying Oliver Twist? Joe Wick's is wearing me out. Ryan seemed to be enjoying it judging by the photo and I know Miss Davis' son is loving it! Tomorrow I am going to go for a jog with my son Lucas to keep myself fit and healthy. Why not attempt The Daily Mile?

For this week's home learning we would like you to undertake the following;

Start your day with Joe Wicks’ 9am PE lesson (or some active lesson such as Super movers)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers/ks2-maths-collection/z7frpg8

  Year 6 pack  Year 5 pack
Friday English:

Re-watch the clip about Spy Fox. https://www.literacyshed.com/spyfox.html

Using your plans I would like you to create a narrative retelling the first part of the adventure. You can chose to write your story in first or third person. I would like to see that you have included some expanded noun phrases, which we have been learning about this week in your English work. Try to make your stories as interesting as possible, try to think of the ways that we have learnt in class of how to do this: exciting vocabulary, short sentences, adverbials and powerful verbs. Once completed please try to send your stories to us and we can share them with the class.

Good Luck! Don't forget you can include pictures too!

Have a look at how well William has set out his work in the school gallery.
