Exploring ice!
Today we started learning about winter and we explored ice! Nursery went on an ice hunt outside and they found a huge circular piece of ice in the mud kitchen! The children then used it as an ice skating rink for the mobilo characters inside!
Christmas fun in Class One!
We have enjoyed a super Christmas week in class one! We took part in our Christmas service, had a special visit from Santa, watched a pantomime and enjoyed lots of Christmas treats!

Christmas Pomanders!
Today we made Christmas pomanders! We enjoyed using our sense of smell to smell the cloves and orange.
Santa mail!
We received some very special mail from Santa today! We opened up our letters, read them together and talked about the things we have already done this Christmas to celebrate and spend time with our families.

Role playing the story of The Gingerbread Man!
We worked as a team to role play and act out the story together in teams! We used some expression, story language and performed the story to the rest of the class! We have shown great imagination and creativity today!
Christingle in Class One!
We enjoyed taking part in our Christingle service this morning. We talked about what the different parts of the Christingle represent and lit our Christingles together.
