In History this week, we have learnt about a WWI officer called Walter Tull. We used historical sources to deduce information about his early life and to find out about his involvement in World War I.

In science, we are learning about forces. Today, we used force meters to measure how much force must be applied in order to move an object. Today we performed In Flanders Fields as part of our Remembrance worship. Our teachers were so proud of us for being so respectful during the service.

This week, we have completed our final charcoal pieces. We have tired hard to use the skills we have learnt throughout the unit to create our own unique pieces. We hope you like them!

This week in history, we have been learning about World War I propaganda. We then made our own propaganda posters based on our new learning.

This week we have enjoyed practising our individual focus words in different ways. 
 

This week we have started our new topic in history - World War I. We read the poem In Flanders Fields and created our own watercolour paintings inspired by the poem. We hope you like them!

Today we started our new RE unit, What do Christians learn from the Creation Story?. As a class, we explored the outdoor areas of our school. We took pictures of all of the wonderful things God has created and discussed why they are so special.
