Class 4

In Class 4 we have been working very hard to learn how to use the long multiplication method. We found it very tricky at first, but using practical ways has helped us to master it. Maybe you could ask them to show you how to use this method at home?

We have been learning about Chinese New Year in Class 4 today. We have made and decorated paper fans in preparation for our Dance and Drama lesson with Georgia tomorrow. 
 

In Class 4 we have been getting creative by drawing roses in different places around school. We have experimented with shading in chalk- which was really tricky. 
Well done everyone! 
 

In PE this half term we are doing a gymnastics unit. In our lesson this week we were focussing on 3-point balances. Look at their pointy toes….. Everyone was amazing! Well done Class 4.

On the 11th of December the whole school went to the Colton village hall and sang lots of songs for the people that live in the village. Everyone had impeccable behaviour and stood very well for the singing. We all enjoyed it and will be back next year for more singing. Class 1 and 2 sang two…

On Tuesday year five went to the fire station in Rugeley. They did loads of activities of how to keep safe near fire or on rail way tracks.They also learned what to do if someone steals their credit card and how to stay safe near canals and the beach.  

We had a great day. 

Well done to our three girls who performed brilliantly at Lichfield Cathedral on Thursday. They sang beautifully and committed so much time to preparing for it. 

In RE we have been getting creative. We wanted to show what churches would look like if God was just “loving” or just “holy”. I think the children have done a great job!
