Today we tried out dancing with scarves to a song that made us dance! This was a great way to build the strength, muscles and control in our shoulders and arms! Afterwards we did lots of fantastic mark making! 

We had lots of fun starting our Dear Zoo topic in English today. We talked about what animals you might find at a zoo, describe how they move, what they eat, what they sound like and what they look like. Then we made masks and pretended to be different animals outside. 

We have had a super first day in reception! “I had a really nice day!” We were very responsible with our behaviour and looked after the classroom really well. We had lots of fun playing team games, learning through play and reading the story “Colour Monster goes to school!” We were flying like…

We enjoyed taking part in some relaxing yoga to end our first day at school! Some of the yoga positions were tricky but we showed perseverance and we all took part as a team!
