Building lighthouses!
We have been very creative this week and built our own lighthouses! We learnt about the important job a lighthouse does, created our own and built a circuit to light up the top of our lighthouse! We problem solved along the way.
Monster Phonics fun for Reception!
Reception have been learning how to read and write polysyllabic words this week! We have been flying like eagles with this. We are becoming more and more confident when using our phonics to spell.

We had so much fun taking part in our races at Sports day today! We worked as a team, tried our best and used perseverance from our tool kit!
Sports Day
What a brilliant sports day we have had! Well done Class 2. We missed parents watching us but we all took part and had an excellent morning.
Measuring madness!
We were learning outdoors this morning using the water tray. We chose measurements in ml and used the water to fill our flasks and jugs. We even managed to say dry. Great teamwork!
PE fun
We had some much fun in PE today. We practised batting, throwing and catching by playing a game of rounders. Great sportsmanship guys!

we had lots of fun gardening today. We harvested onions, strawberries, lettuce and some herbs for Alex in the kitchen.
Orchestra instruments
Today we’ve been learning about different instruments you might find in an orchestra. We learned about the instruments, sorted them and then played guess the instrument. Great concentration when concentrating to the music Class 2!
