We've had lots of fun this week learning about how Egyptians communicated. First, we stained some paper with coffee to make it look like papyrus. Next, we wrote our names in hieroglyphics as practice before composing our own secret messages on the papyrus.

Science Experiment Time!
This week, Class 4 have set up their science experiment to investigate the effect of placing saltwater in different locations, to see how quickly a solvent will evaporate from a solution. We can't wait to record the results over the coming week and see which location is most effective!

Today the monster phonics made a huge mess in the garden! They left behind some phonics sounds and pictures for us to match to their correct initial sound. We worked as a team to match the pictures of the objects to their correct initial sound.

Fabulous first full week
