Our school Bible story small World Play
Class one have used small world play to retell our school Bible story of The Good Samaritan! We talked about how we can be good Samaritans too!
Painting flowers
We have used our creative painting skills to paint flowers. We have also been learning the names of the parts of flowers and plants.
Gardening!
Today we read Jasper’s Beanstalk! Then we followed instructions to plant our own seed. We talked about caring for our seed by giving it water, sun, warmth and nutrients from the compost. Class one have been super gardeners!
All God’s creatures
We believe that all God’s creatures should be cherished. As such we have recently re homed 2 wonderful rabbits in need of love and 5 battery hens. At St Mary’s we love our outdoor learning and the impact we can have on God’s world.
WHITEMOOR LAKES!!!!!
On Tuesday and Wednesday Class 3 went on a residential to Whitemoor lakes. Here is a list of things we did there: climbing, archery, high ropes and team games. We had an amazing time!
Monster Phonics Maps!
We made Monster Phonics Maps for World Book Day! We helped Tricky Witch to find her magic wand that was lost in Monster Phonics Land!
We read Mr Wolf’s pancakes and then we made our own!

Pancake making with class 1
We had a lovely morning making pancakes with class 1 today. We worked as a team to make pancake batter and then cook it in frying pans.
Tea staining paper
We’ve been staining paper today ready to make posters about the Plague on Friday.
Having fun climbing
We are having great fun on our residential everyone. We all slept well and have enjoyed climbing, circus skills and a camp fire.
