Autumn Term Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this newsletter finds you well. As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the days grow shorter, we're excited to share some of the highlights from our busy term.
Upcoming Events
- Please mark your calendars for our upcoming events. These are updated regularly on the website/app so keep your eyes out for any updates.
- There are a number of Christmas events now on the calendar.
Celebrations
Our recent maths review day was a resounding success, with pupils demonstrating a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. We're particularly proud of how brilliantly our Class 1 children shone on this day and how well they have settled into school this term. The day allowed headteachers from across our trust, governors and our CEO to see our wonderful school in action. I was so proud of staff and children alike! The practical, engaging maths curriculum your children are subject to every day is testament to the creativity and hard work of the staff.
Our Harvest festival in church was another wonderful celebration of our school community. We enjoyed reflecting on the importance of our food donations and the impact they have on the community as well as being entertained by the children who all read and performed brilliantly. Thank you again to all those that attended.
With Egyptian days, overnigh residentials and outdoor learning it has already been a jam-packed half term. Please continue to check out your child's class blog page to keep up to date with all the exciting things they have been up to.
Important Reminders
- Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for the weather, including warm coats and rain gear as well as that crucial pair of wellies permanently in school.
- Please check all of your child's clothing is named.
- Don't forget to check our school website and social media for regular updates and important announcements.
- We have a number of chocolate bars and crisps being consumed at snack time which is against school policy. Please provide your child with fruit or a healthy breakfast/oat bar. Key stage 1 and EYFS children are given free fruit each day.
Congratulations
Finally we would like to extend a huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Conlon and their daughter who are expecting their second child. Mrs Conlon will continue to work with us until February. We know you will join us in sending our warmest congratualtions to them all.
We hope you all have a wonderful half-term break. We look forward to welcoming your children back to school refreshed and ready to learn.
