Image of Class One Home learning for the next two weeks over Easter!

Hello Class One,

I hope you are all doing ok?

Thank you for all of the wonderful photos you have sent to us this week. It has been great to see what you have been getting up to!

I am so pleased to see that you have been doing a few of the things I have suggested for you, thinking of some activities of your own and learning through your play! Well done everyone.

Parents please do remember to just do what you can. The children in class one mainly learn through play. There are opportunities for maths, writing, reading, and talking through everything you do together. The children will surprise you and make these links themselves. Let them build, play with dough, go outside in the garden, small world play, draw, role play, build dens-whatever they choose. Watch them play, join in and talk with them. Your children are amazing and they are learning all the time.

Today I am sharing lots of Easter activities for you to have a go at over the next two weeks! There are creative activities, some maths, Makaton songs, writing, outdoor activities and more!

Here is a link to a great website with lots of Easter links, activities and games you can share together over the Easter holidays. https://www.topmarks.co.uk/Easter/

Here are some links to Makaton Easter songs:

If you need some other things to do have a look back on the Class One School Closure blog page on the school website, and class dojo. I have shared lego challenges, yoga links, playdough recipes, scavenger hunts, story pages and more.

Have a rest over the next two weeks and enjoy time together.
