1 December 2020

Image of It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in class one!

This week we have continued our learning all about the first Christmas! We have sequenced and retold the story. We are also amazing at discussing the story and talking about how Jesus was sent to Earth by God to help teach everyone about love, respect and friendship.

When we arrived at school on the 1st December, we found an Elf and an angel! They are visiting from the North Pole. They brought us a count down to Christmas and an advent calendar to help us count down the days to the celebration. They heard how amazing Class One are at showing generosity, love, respect and friendship so they are staying for a while so that we can teach them more about these values. We are doing a super job already!

We are enjoying taking part in lots of Christmas themed learning opportunities such as; reading Christmas stories, creating and telling our own Christmas stories, writing letters to Santa, decorating the tree and creating advent wreaths.
