Good morning class one,

There was some more brilliant maths happening yesterday! Let's have a go at some more today!

I am here to help so please let me know if you need anything.

Input 1: 9:30am-We would like to see everyone at 9:30am for this online session.

Miss Wood will be helping you to develop your reading, communication and language skills in phonics today. Look out on dojo as Miss Wood will post some extra challenges for nursery on there.

Friday afternoon

There is no set learning for this afternoon. Have a lovely afternoon!

Reception maths learning- Would you like some more maths learning to complete at home?

Reception can work through the White Rose Maths home learning resources across the week here. You might like to work on one video a day. These mini video lessons support and help the Reception children to develop all of the maths we have been learning in class. Please follow what we are learning in the online sessions and the sessions on the white rose maths page for reception. These sessions are building on the children's previous learning and helping them to develop a deeper understanding of maths.

Please have a look on Google Classroom for the Numberblock episodes that would be great to watch to support our learning over this phase.

Nursery maths

Here are some maths resources for nursery to explore whenever you would like. Continue to work on subitising as this is a very important maths tool that will help them to master maths.

Here are some more ideas to have a go at this week.

More ideas for learning around the story of ‘The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.’

Watch the story here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=u6Dfq1xA3cQ

Listen to the audio story

https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/school-radio/audio-stories-the-town-mouse-and-the-country-mouse/zrcrvk7

Can you create a town and countryside small world area?

Can you retell the story?

Which way?

Create a trail and map from the town to the country. Can you give directions to explain the way?

Explore globes, atlases, maps and books about the World you have at home.

What do you notice? What can you find?

Explore Google Earth.

Do you recognise these places?

Can you find an aerial view of where you live? What else can you spot?

Click on the dice at the left hand side (I’m feeling lucky) and this will take you on a visit to somewhere new in the World.
