We have been investigating capacity this week. The children were provided with a range of different sized containers, and different sized scoops. We discussed capacity, and which containers we predicted would hold the most soil. We then discussed which would be the most suitable scoops for filling the largest tub we have! The children decided that the giant spoon and the shovels would be the best, as it would take too long to fill with a small spoon.
