Making butter!

We poured think double cream into a jar and turned it into butter by shaking it as fast as we could as a team! We needed our strong muscles to shake the cream inside the jar. The buttermilk separated from the big lump of yellow butter inside the jar. We tried the creamy butter on some soft bread during story time. It was delicious. We learned all about the milk and cream and how it comes from a cow.
