Nursery have been representing numbers!
The nursery children have been learning how to represent numbers through pictures and marks. The children have also been doing this as they play! They have been able to explain the marks they make and have even used them to sing their own number songs with their friends!

Creating dancing sticks for Chinese New Year!
In forest school we created dancing sticks for Chinese New Year! We used them to create a dragon dance and we created our own dances using our sticks to make patterns in the air. We had so much fun and we worked as a team!
Tasting Chinese food!
Today we cooked noodles in the wok and then tried them for snack time. We also tried delicious prawn crackers (That melt on your tongue!) and crunchy fortune cookies!

Today we learnt about the miracle of how Jesus fed the 5000!
Today we learnt about the miracle of Jesus feeding the 5000! We were amazed at the story. We talked about what the left over food could be used for and we came up with some very thoughtful ideas. We made our own bread today and we have made extra to share at snack time tomorrow.
