We believe that all God’s creatures should be cherished. As such we have recently re homed 2 wonderful rabbits in need of love and 5 battery hens. At St Mary’s we love our outdoor learning and the impact we can have on God’s world. 

We are having great fun on our residential everyone. We all slept well and have enjoyed climbing, circus skills and a camp fire.

Next half term....

We have some exciting learning opportunities again next term in Class 4. 

In English we will be reading I Was There...Viking Invasion as well as looking at some non-fuction tetxts based amround our visit to York.

We have had an amazing day on the Derby Faith trail. We showed love, respect and friendship as we learned about  other religions and cultures in our society.

We have worked hard this week on our Greenpower car. It’s coming together!

Today we reflected on this term’s value, justice.

Luke from Birmingham childrens hospital came in today to tell us about where our money might be spent that we raised for Birmingham Children’s hospital. 

Our home learners have been keeping busy - even getting their art work done. Great Graffiti!

Our graffiti art is really coming on in Class 4! We have been cutting out our tag stencils ready to spray them next week. We have used lots of creativity and perseverance from our learning tools this week.
