Multicultural Day
We loved working with the older children on Multicultural Day. We worked hard to create our own mehndi designs in Class 1.

Thank you to Miss Wood and the PTA for buying each class some caterpillars. We are so excited to watch them transform over the next few weeks!
Church Construction
In RE, we have been learning all about the Church. This week, we used our knowledge of the features of a church to build our own. We hope you like our buildings!
Wolseley Centre
We had a brilliant time at the Wolseley Centre today. We learnt all about the lifecycles of butterflies, frogs and other minibeasts. We went pond dipping and minibeast hunting and learnt lots about the world around us. Our teachers were so impressed with how sensible we were!
St. Mary’s Church
In our new RE unit, we have been learning all about what happens in a church. We went to visit our school church and drew some amazing pictures. We hope you like them!
Easter Gardens
This week we finished our RE unit by making our own Easter Gardens. We worked in small teams to gather the resources we needed and worked collaboratively to design and make our gardens. We did such a great job!
Sunflowers
This week, we have been learning more about growing. We started the week by reading a story called Eddie’s Garden and planted some of our own sunflower seeds, just like Eddie did in the story. We have done some brilliant writing about our favourite flowers and also drawn some brilliant sunflowers.…

Fruit and Vegetables
This week we have been learning about different fruits and vegetables. We also practised our safe cutting skills when preparing our own snack. Our teachers were really impressed with how safe and sensible we were!
We’re Going on a Bear Hunt
This week we have been creating story maps for one of our favourite stories, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. We hope you like them!
