This week, we have been learning all about firefighters as part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ topic. We have enjoyed dressing up and building our own fire engines.

This week we have been learning about different types of houses and homes. We have enjoyed building and drawing different types of homes and talking about our own homes.

This week we have had fun printing with vegetables. We enjoyed exploring the shapes that different vegetables make. We hope you like our pictures!

We have had lots of fun exploring our indoor and outdoor classrooms. Our teachers are really pleased with how well have all settled back in. We hope you enjoy looking through our pictures. :)

We have been keeping cool by having relaxing foot spas, milkshakes, water sprays, colouring and eating strawberries! 

After watching the class four play ‘Treasure Island’ we wanted to learn more about pirates. Today we created treasure maps, hats, eye patches and telescopes. We used them all on board our pirate ship that we built as a team! We have been very creative today! 

We have had a very creative day using our own ideas and creativity to make lots of under the sea themed art work! We have made jellyfish using different materials, painted textured fish and seahorses and under the sea artwork! 

Nursery have enjoyed practicing their cutting skills today to cut peppermint from the garden and then they squashed, stirred and splashed to pour our peppermint tea! There was lots of creativity happening!

Today we played a reading game with a partner in monster phonics! There was lots of super reading, teamwork, sharing, communication and friendship shown! Well done reception! 

Today some of nursery created symmetrical butterflies using dabblers, sequins and lots of creative materials. We created colourful butterflies and we attached some string to hang them in the garden!
