This afternoon we made Great Fire of London artwork using tissue paper.

Class 1 and 2 joined together for a big quiz on World Book Day.

We've been finding halves and quarters by sharing between 2 or 4 grops.

Class 2 enjoy performing 'I am a robot' from BBC's 'Bring the noise' website.
Conjunctions fun!
Today we started to learn about the Great Fire of London. We learnt about writing sentences in the past tense and then joined them together using conjunctions (and, but, or, so, because).
Deciduous or evergreen?
This week we walked around the church identifying deciduous and evergreen trees. We talked about the differences between them and looked for similarities between the leaves.
Our Amazing London Writing
This half term we've been reading all about London. We have read Katie in London, A Walk in London, Paddington and Paddington's Guide to London. To finish the half term, we have written our Katie in London story retellings neatly into out Independent Writing Books and used watercolurs to paint…
Saint Valentine
Today we have learnt about Saint Valentine and written about how Valentine's day started. We have stuck them in the hall for the Valentine's day disco tonight.
Marmalade sandwiches
We've been learning about Paddington this week so today we made marmalade sandwiches and wrote instructions for others to be able to make them.
Identifying parts of plants
Today we made plants using nuudles and labelled the parts.
