Tangrams
As part of our Lunar New Year celebrations, we made tangrams in maths. They were a lot trickier than they look but we enjoyed the challenge!
Faces, edges and vertices
In maths today we were looking at the properties of 3D shapes. We made our own shape so that we could explore the number many faces, edges and vertices.

Year 2 got creative in phonics today and used different consonant suffixes to describe the snake. Well done Year 2, some super ideas!

Chinese New Year
As part of our Chinese New Year week Class 2 had a go at writing numbers to 10 in Chinese.
Phases of the moon art work!
Reception have been learning more about the phases of the moon and then they created their own phases of the moon artwork using different materials and tools.
Chinese New Year
We have been learning about Chinese New Year in Class 4 today. We have made and decorated paper fans in preparation for our Dance and Drama lesson with Georgia tomorrow.

Art Roses
In Class 4 we have been getting creative by drawing roses in different places around school. We have experimented with shading in chalk- which was really tricky.

Gymnastics Class 4
In PE this half term we are doing a gymnastics unit. In our lesson this week we were focussing on 3-point balances. Look at their pointy toes….. Everyone was amazing! Well done Class 4.

Lines of symmetry
In maths today we have been looking at vertical lines of symmetry. Today we painted half of a butterfly and folded it over to support our understanding of what the symmetrical means.
