Mini scientists
We've done lots of science this term - we have placed pumpkins (both whole and halved) inside and outside and hypothesised which would rot first, we have made nests for hibernating hot water bottles and measured which ones stayed warmer for longer, and most recently, we have gotten the colour out…
Printing - Final Piece
Today in art we started our final ‘printing’ priced of work. In this lesson we chose leaves to make a repeating pattern frame to surround our work.
Bread!
After looking at wheat and all the wonderful things it can produce, we have made our own loaf from flour!
We each had a turn at pouring the water, mixing the batter into a dough, and then kneading it. Afterwards, we tasted it! I was very pleased that everybody tried some.
Light-up pictures
In DT, we have made light-up canvases. We learnt how to make circuits with switches, use LEDs and also did lots of problem solving if our circuits did not light up.
We hope you like them!
Art outside in the autumn sun!
We have been using pastel to draw pumpkin patches on our art books!
Pumpkin hammering!
Today we have hammering gold tees into pumpkins. We did this very safely and it’s great for our fine motor skills!
Autumn festival!

Nursery drew a pumpkin patch!
Today nursery worked as part of a team to draw a pumpkin patch!
A super trip to the imagination Station!
