CLASS 4 HISTORY TRIP

Welcome back!
Class 3 have settled back in to school really well. We have started learning about Ancient Egypt this week and the children have enjoyed writing their names in hieroglyphics. We hope you like them!
Salon fun!
The children had lots of fun decorating the teachers’ hair today in our salon. The children were either attending to hair and makeup, or were serving their customers cake and tea! Lots of creativity and imagination across the classroom, well done reception!
Receptions First Week!
The Reception children have settled into school beautifully. They have been enjoying lots of learning through play, building friendships and settling into school routines. There has been some amazing creativity, teamwork, sharing and learning of new skills already!

Mass in Maths
In maths today Year 1 have been using yer balance scales to compare the mass of classroom objects and work out mass using cubes. We used language such as heavier, lighter and balanced.
