Phonics Hunt
We got our Monster Phonics session off to a good start today by working in pairs to hunt for common exception words. We had to read and write down as many words as we could find.
Flower Power
In school this week we have been basing our writing on a book called Flower Power by Caroline Wedd. We also looked at the meaning behind the story and based PSHE sessions on resilience, respect and friendship. We also sketched and planted some flowers.

Good luck Year 6- We will always remember you.
In Forest School Class 4 and Miss Wood thought of a fantastic way to remember our lovely Year 6s. They planted a tree that they had grown from seed and then placed rocks that they had decorated around it. What a super idea and I had the honour of helping them on Tuesday.

Brush your teeth!
Today we have learnt all about dental hygiene. We already knew so much and really impressed our teachers!
Teddy Bears Picnic
Class 2 had a fantastic time today at Colton Park for our Teddy Bears Picnic. Our furry friends also remembered to bring their lunch too!
Fruit Kebabs
In DT we have been learning all about picnics. Today we designed and made fruit kebabs. We then evaluated our finished products.
We made it to the monument
We had a fab walk to the monument this evening. The views were magnificent.
