One-point Perspective Drawing
In Class 4 we were using the learning tools of perseverance, resilience and positivity when trying to draw in one-point perspective. We haven't finished them yet but I think they are excellent first efforts. Well done Class 4!
Super spellers
We have had so much fun learning our spellings these last few weeks. Who would have thought there were so many practical ways to learn!
Welcome nursery!
We've had a wonderful week in Class 1, welcoming new faces into our classroom and showing them around the school. We've had fun in forest school, we've been thinking about the Creation story, and we've made lots of new friends this week.
Wedgwood
In art Class 2 have been learning all about Josiah Wedgwood. This week we designed and created a piece of pottery inspired by his work.
Independent Learners
Our Year 1 children have been enjoying our outdoor area today accessing the continuous provision independently. It is lovely to see the children engaged and enjoying their learning.
3, 2, 1 Blast Off !
In maths today we have been looking at the number line and counting backwards from 10. We pretended that we were astronauts and ordered numbers backwards on our rockets.
Fine motor fun!
We have been building the tiny muscles in our fingers in class one using lots of fine motor equipment! We stretched bands, pinched with the tweezers, twisted pipe cleaners and turned nuts and bolts! What a super way to help our fingers become even stronger!
Creativity in the mud kitchen!
We have loved making soups in our mud kitchen today! We used our creativity and imagination to get very messy making sloppy soups and mud pies!
