We used play dough to make long and short beanstalks and to help s learn more about length. We made our beanstalks longer and short, use vocabulary or length and compared length. Lots of super maths learning through our play!

Today we have been learning around the story of Handa’s Surprise. We have baked our own banana bread and pineapple cakes! There was lots of super teamwork, sharing and lots of opportunities to develop our fine motor skills. Well done class one!
Our expedition to cold places!
We packed a bag full of things to keep us warm on our adventures to the Arctic and Antarctica. We created moving penguins from the Antarctic and painted polar bears from the Arctic.

Class one have been exploring ice! We used words to describe the ice. We looked at how the ice changed and melted back into water. We used vocabulary like; freezing, cold, hard, wet, slippy.
