In DT, we have been learning all about waterproofing. Today, we experimented waxing. We tested our boats against a boat made from non-waxed paper to compare the results.

Class 2 had great fun today making their pizzas in Design and Technology.

In English today we followed a set instructions and decorated a biscuit.

A Santa themed obstacle course this morning! Can you jump off the chimneys? Can you climb up the ladder to reach the roof? We had so much fun and what a super way to exercise! 

Well done to all our Class 1 and 2 children who our on a fantastic Nativity performance.

Today in RE we learnt about Advent and the significance of the Advent Wreath. We then learnt about and made Christingles in preparation for our Church service.  

Exploring shapes today in maths with reception! We have used lots of vocabulary like circumference, angle, quadrilateral and side! We explored using compasses to create circles. We drew around shapes to create 2D shapes on paper. We used sticks to build shapes with 3 and 4 sides. We learnt more…

In geography, we have been learning about mountains and volcanoes. This week, we have learnt about the features of volcanoes and sketched pictures to show our understanding.

Today in maths we used the place value charts to partition numbers to 100 into tens and ones. 

Class 2 have got creative this morning making a selection of items for Christmas including decorations for our Christmas tree in church.
