Road traffic survey!
We observed and recorded the colour of the vehicles that drove past school. We used marks to record our finding and then we explained what we found. We are flying like eagles in our maths learning!

Road safety!
We have already learnt so much about road safety this week. We went out into the local area to learn more about crossing the road safely and all about road safety. We were all very responsible. We also looked at the job of a road crossing patrol warden today.
Class 4 Film trip
Just a reminder that Class 4 will be on a trip to see a film on Tuesday 19th November. The film will be in Burton and we will be back in school for lunchtime. Children need to be in full uniform as normal and may bring a small snack and bottle of water with them.

Children in Need!
Today we learnt more about Children in Need and helped to raise money for the charity. In outdoor learning we decorated Pudsey Bear. We also planned Pudsey parties, danced to a Pudsey wake and shake song, decorated Pudsey bears, and cut and created cake stands.

Children in Need
This Morning, Class 3 have taken part in the Children in Need 'Big Morning Move' with Joe Wicks. We completed a series of exercises and now feel energized and ready for the rest of the day!
Emotions through PE
We have worked on showing emotion through gymnastics and dance to tell the story of war and its effects on people.

Knitting
Today we started our DT topic of knitting. We practised knitting with needles and using looms. The children displayed perseverance and positivity and really supported each other. Another great afternoon.

As it's getting towards winter, please could you send your child in with jumpers, hats, scarves and gloves for forest school.
