Happy Easter!

What a busy and exciting term we have had again at school. When looking back at all the events , enrichment and lessons that have happened since Christmas it is hard to know where to start!

We have seen residential trips to York and Whitemoor Lakes, where our children have learned skills for life such as perseverance, resilience, teamwork and friendship. We have seen enrichment in and outside the classroom and in particular whole school events such as World book day, Comic Relief and many more.

As always, the children have shone in all that they do. Church services have been fantastic and as you can see the day-to-day standard of work the children consistently produce makes me very proud.

Behind-the-scenes the staff work tirelessly to create exciting and engaging lessons for your children to enjoy. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and how they consistently go above and beyond. It has been great to be involved in MAT and local sporting events, including netball and football to name a few. It is great that our small school get the chance to compete and showcase their talents.

As the weather changes for the better we all look forward to the next term and all that the summer brings. I have again been so proud of the children but would particularly like to mention the amazing dance and drama opportunities I have been privileged to witness over the last few weeks. Class 3’s play, dance and drama performances in the school hall and the fantastic achievements of our dance group at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre have all made me and all the staff so proud.

Next term the school value will be compassion and we look forward to learning more about this. It will also be a busy term for the children academically, we know they will continue to shine as the year progresses. I would again like to thank PTA for all of their hard work and effort this term and in advance for all the exciting things they have planned next term. Easter bingo is a particular favourite of mine and was such a wonderful event.

I hope you all have a wonderful and restful Easter break and look forward to seeing you all in the summer term. Please keep logging onto the School website looking at our events and reading the blogs of all the wonderful things going on in each. Please help your child return to school ready to learn with their wellies, well stocked pencil cases and reading diaries.

Happy Easter.
