2 June 2020

Hello Class 3,

I've been back in school for two days now and it's definitely not the same without you all! I've been kept company by Ollie and Liam however and we've been making the most of the glorious weather! Have you had a good start to your week?

We've started the day today (Tuesday) with some topic work then we're going to do some Maths. I hope you're all working hard too!

Here's the work for the next couple of days.

Remember 2 hours of work a day is enough!

Please listen to Noma Dumezweni (who played Hermione on the stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) read chapter 2 of Harry Potter. There are some activities you can complete also.

Topic

History - Ages of Man

Now you have looked at when this stage of history was and a little bit about what happened, I would like you to research more into the Stone Age. I would like you to create a fact file or non-chronological report about what happened during the Stone Age.

What did they eat?

What jobs did they have?

Where did they live?

What did they wear?

What was life like for children?

What are the differences and similarities to life now?

and anything else you can find out.

There is some information on the BBC Bitesize website and on google there will be lots of information.

Something extra?

https://www.unicefkidpower.org/challenges-for-kids/ -- Can you have a go at some of the challenges on this website?

You could learn to make your bed or put washing in the washing machine.

Help the adults in your home to wash up after dinner and tidy the kitchen.

I hope you're all staying safe and healthy!

Remember there won't be any work set on a Friday from now.
