In May Year 2 will take part in the End of Key Stage 1 SATs. These books are excellent for helping children to prepare for the SAT's. Please complete 1 test in each book every week. Please let your child have a go by themselves and then talk to them about the answers. We will then work through it together in school on Fridays.
Each test is intended to take 10 minutes. If you feel like the test is too hard to begin with, stop them after 10 minutes and we will work through the remaining questions in school.
It's important that children try to read the passage and questions in the reading book by themselves as this is how they will take the SATs test.
