This week in Class 3 we have been remembering the soldiers in the war. We baked cookies in the shape of poppies then on on Thursday we iced the cookies with red icing and black icing. The whole school had 2 minutes of silence to remember the soldiers. On the other days of the week we made poppies in forest school with twigs and wool. The week before, we painted and made poppies out of clay and bottles. When we finished painting the bottles the whole school made a huge poppy display, it was wonderful.
We also made pretty Diwali lamps made out of clay. We painted them bright colours like violet, green and orange.
