Hello Class 3!
I hope you all had a wonderful 2 week break for Easter and celebrated in the best way you can! I also hope you're all well and keeping safe!
I did lots of baking over the past two weeks and dropped it off to my family by leaving it on their doorsteps which helped to spread some joy in this very strange time. I also spent lots of time in my garden reading. I hope you've all spent lots of time in the sun too!
For today's work please follow the information below. If there's ever anything you need help with please feel free to email me on my school email or you can message me on class dojo. I am more than happy to help at any time!

This week I am going to give you various different poems I'd like you to have a go at performing at home. When we perform poetry it's really important we understand the meaning of each line of the poem - this helps to perform the poem even better! Think about what actions you could use and how you can use your voice to show meaning. Today's poem is all about home. I thought this was a good place to start as we're all spending such a lot of time at home at the moment! Class 3 Poem 20-04You could send me a video of your finished poem! |

Reading |
Read the text 'Sword in the stone' and answer the questions. *Parents- the answers are at the bottom of the question sheets* Class 3 Reading 20-04Don't forget to read the books you have at home and get your parents to ask you questions based on what you have read. David Walliams is also uploading a story each day on his website that you could listen to. https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/ |

Topic |
This term in Geography we would have been learning about Towns and Cities. Today's work I would like you to watch the following video: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zx72pv4/articles/zrbvjhv You can then have a go at the follow up activity on the same web page. Can you use the internet to identify hamlets, villages, towns and cities near to where you live? |
|
Need something extra? |
Why not have a go at a writing a journal. Each day you can answer the questions on each sheet. These could be saved and looked back on next year to remember what it was like whilst we were all in lock down. Class 3 Journalling |
Hope you have a good couple of days. Remember not to worry about how much you get done. Just have a go! Make sure you get yourselves in the sun too and enjoy the time you're spending with your family.
Don't forget to email me the work you complete - I'd love to see it!
Missing you all lots!
