Happy Monday Class 3!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I spent a lot of time in the garden reading and finishing my book! I feel very grateful for my garden at the moment! Do you? I forgot to put suncream on on Saturday and burnt a little which was very silly! I hope you are all practicing sun safety better than I did!
I've got quite an exciting day today which hopefully I can share with you all soon! Here we go for another week of home learning. You are all working so hard and I am so very proud of you all! I've loved seeing the work you have completed and look forward to receiving some more this week!
Start the day with something active like Joe Wicks at 9am!
Please remember 2 hours a day is plenty of work.

This week we are going to link our English work to our Geography work. I would like you to first of all research a city, town or village in the UK. You will be using this information to write a non-chronological report on Wednesday so it is important you get as much information as possible. You will find a powerpoint all about planning a non-chronological report on Google Classroom to help you and a planning sheet you could use.

Why? - Who is the video about? Where is it set? When does it happen? What happens? Why does it happen? On page 2 you need to describe the characters Tony, Grandpa and Dad using interesting adjectives. You can watch the video more than once if it will help! |

Let's do some Art this week! We would be learning about painting. We would be doing as much of this as possible out of the classroom. Today's art challenge - Paint a picture of your garden. Don't forget to make it detailed and use different sized paint brushes! If you don't have any paint at home - you could draw and colour. Or you could have a go at making your own paint and brushes. Have a go at a bit of coding on https://scratch.mit.edu/ or https://www.bt.com/codeacake (I had a go at coding a cake and did not do so well! I bet you lot could all beat me!) Try a bit of mindfulness or meditation. Don't forget there's loads of videos on youtube under 'Cosmic Kids'
