Monday 4th May 2020

Hi Class 4,

How are you all? Hope that you are well and that you have had a good weekend. We are good, staying at home an keeping safe! We have managed to get out in garden the as the weather has been drier  this weekend. Flynn even helped us to cut the grass!!!

I am looking forward to seeing some of the work that you create this week- don't forget to send us anything you are proud of and would like us to see. Remember Georgia's dance and drama is at 11 on Monday too!

Please remember that 2 hours of work a day is plenty.

Keep safe.

Miss Davis and Mr Wynn

Mr Wynn has been enjoying this app GoNoodle at home with his children and is really enjoying it. It is a great app with some funny dances on it. The link is https://www.gonoodle.com/good-energy-at-home-kids-games-and-videos/ Why not give it a go and see what you think?

English:

Today in English we are going to be looking at poetry. It is an important part of English to be able to read and perform poetry. I would like you to have a look at this poem 'The Spider and the Fly' http://holyjoe.org/poetry/howitt.htm. I would like you to practise reading and performing this poem. It would be great if you could record yourselves reading parts of the poem and send them to us to watch. You could try to put actions and voices for the characters. For those of you that are very skilled on the computer you could make a Powerpoint with elements that move to show the story of the poem.

Hope you enjoy.
