Class 1 Home Learning Timetable Friday 29th January

Good morning class one,

It is party time! Today it is time to celebrate all of our learning that we have completed over the last 2 weeks by having a party!

Let's meet at 9:30am and reflect on all of the wonderful learning we have achieved over the last 2 weeks!

Remember to come dressed up if you wish (as a teddy bear or in party clothes!) or wear something that you have created like a mask or a hat. Bring some bear themed party food along (this could be teddy toast or pancakes or anything else you have made!) and bring along your bear themed creations like paintings, a new chair for baby bear or your forest school challenge creations.

We will have show and tell, play some games and we might sing a song too! See you at the party! I hope we do not see Goldilocks there!

Input 1: 9:30am-We would like to see everyone at 9:30am for this online session.

Mrs Coleman- Harris will lead this session for all of Reception and Nursery together.

On Friday we are going to have a party in our morning session!

You have all been amazing over the last two weeks. You have developed so many skills and learnt so much! Today is all about developing our personal, social and emotional skills. We are going to reflect on our achievements, talk about our learning and memories, take part in some games as a team and have lots of fun!

I am not setting you any learning challenges after our party today but you may wish to choose some more Mr Wolf and the Three Bears activities to complete from the ideas on the blog below.

We will see you next week to start learning around a new theme!

Reception maths learning

Reception can work through the White Rose Maths home learning resources across the week here. You might like to work on one video a day. These mini video lessons support and help the Reception children to develop all of the maths we have been learning in class. Please follow what we are learning in the online sessions and the sessions on the white rose maths page for reception. These sessions are building on the children's previous learning and helping them to develop a deeper understanding of maths. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/early-years/growing-6-7-8/

Here are some more things to keep you busy this week.

Capacity

Following our maths learning last week can you continue to explore capacity this week?

You could explore capacity in the bath, create a role play drinks shop, make potions, use water, rice, cotton wool- anything you would like!

Can you count the scoops of water/rice/cotton wool it takes to fill each container?

Can you describe and write words to describe your favourite bear?

Potato stamp bears
